Beapo (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive innovation and deliver price
benchmarking services for State Organs and Private Sector clients. This role is instrumental in
optimising procurement, enhancing supplier relationships, and achieving cost-effective sourcing
strategies.

Role Summary:

• Location: Beapo (Pty) Ltd, Kloof, South Africa
• Duration: Full-time
• Purpose: Solve complex problems, develop customer relationships, and ensure customer
  satisfaction in the sourcing of OEMs, Conveyor Belts, Heavy Equipment, Industrial Tires,
  Crane Spares, Bearings and Couplings, and Lifting Equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential business leads through various channels.
• Maintain 100% accuracy on the business leads process identification and capturing.
• Manage and complete RFx's (RFQ, RFI, RFP) and ensure compliance with relevant
  requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to understand specifications and requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and select approved suppliers per commodity.
• Facilitate the return process of non-conforming components.
• Maintain regular reporting and continuous process improvement.
• Verify RFQ and purchase order accuracy and conformity.
• Follow up on orders with suppliers, ensure delivery, and evaluate supplier performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree/Honours in Supply Chain Management or CIPS Level 5 in Supply Chain Management
  or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-5 years of sourcing experience in plant and heavy equipment machines and engineering.
• Experience in tender and contract administration.
• Knowledge of procurement legislation, including PFMA and B-BBEE.
• Valid driver's license.
  Required Knowledge:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), with MS Project as an
  advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Zoho CRM.
• Understanding of procurement best practices and category management.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications.
